Welcome to ARLA!
We are a fledgling organization, and a work in progress, with almost 400 members on our Face Book page. ARLA, the Arizona Rural Land Owner’s Association is a grassroots, non-partisan volunteer organization representing the interests of off-grid and alternative housing and land management issues in Yavapai County Arizona. We expect to be expanding to include other counties since we share the same issues with all rural residents of Arizona and increasingly, nation wide.
Our accomplishments so far include attending several Yavapai County Town Hall meetings as a group, asking County officials the tough questions, and getting their answers on record. We have interviewed residents whose civil liberties have been violated (see Videos and Resources). In addition, we ourselves have been interviewed by various alternative media. One of those interviews attracted the attention of a prominent organization, which will be revealed at later date.
We are currently building teams for developing and researching various strategies that we believe will effect positive change for residents living in rural areas throughout Arizona.
We welcome you to join us.
